Scott Roeder will argue at his trial that he was justified in shooting abortion doctor George Tiller. From FoxNews.com,
“Because of the fact preborn children’s lives were in imminent danger this was the action I chose. … I want to make sure that the focus is, of course, obviously on the preborn children and the necessity to defend them,” -Scott Roeder
Shooting abortion doctors is a really bad move. It’s a PR disaster for Churches, Pastors and Christians and the pro-life movement. It’s also murder. I haven’t found where Roeder has identified himself as a Christian, but hopefully Christians won’t get shackled with this.

In digging around for more information, keep in mind some of this may or may not be true, he appears to have been on and off mind medication. Terms like bipolar and schizo seem to follow him. He works as a low wage register clerk and has ties to militant Freemen & Army of God groups.
